Ingredients and Spices for Mia Bean Salad:
- 2 large cans of unsalted peas
- 2 lbs of bacon
- 12 eggs
- 1/3 cup mustard
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup dill to taste
- 1 red onion
- 3 bunches of spring onions
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons creole seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Sprinkle with hard cheese
- 1 package of grated cheddar cheese
Steps to Make Mia Bean Salad
- Boil twelve eggs. I added enough water to have about two inches of water above the eggs. Bring to a boil, then put the pan on and turn off the heat. Leave for 18 minutes, then rinse with cold water until cool.
- Fry and crumble the bacon to taste. Sometimes I slice the meat before cooking to save time and sear it in the pan.
- Chop the onions and gather all the ingredients while waiting for the eggs and bacon.
- Peel the eggs, dry them and put them in the fridge.
- Combine the eggs and bacon in your bowl, reserving some bacon for sprinkling.
- Sprinkle with cheese then bacon that you have set aside. Put it in the fridge until it hardens!
