Instructions for Grandma's Salad

  1. Finely chop the mortadella, pickles, eggs and chilli.
  2. Fry the onion in the oil for about 5 minutes or until the onion is lightly browned.
  3. Add mustard, ketchup, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, mix and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Combine mortadella, egg, chili and pickles in a salad bowl. Add the canned corn, tartar sauce, a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cold dressing and blend until smooth.
  6. Serve with toast or baguette.
